Parent View

Your views are important to us and as a school we try to capture your opinion in a variety of ways.

1.  Every year, in conjunction with the School Governance Committee, we will ask you to complete a parental questionnaire.  The focus for the questionnaire may be linked to our recent school improvement focus or maybe more generalised.  The most recent survey was conducted in July 2013 at the end of the academic year.

2.  Each term you are invited to attend a parent consultation meeting with your child's class teacher.  At these meetings you will be asked to complete a shared feedback form about your child's learning.

3.  The Senior Leadership Team are always happy to hear your views, whether formally or stood at the school gates in the morning.  Each term we will create opportunities for you to visit school in a more informal way for this purpose.  In October we combined our Come and Meet Everyone (CAMEO) tea and coffee morning with the SSAFA Big Brew for this purpose.   All leaders hosted this coffee morning and took time to listen to your views.

4. When you leave Dhekelia Primary School we will ask you to complete an 'exit' questionnaire.  This survey is a great opportunity for your to summarise your experiences of our school and every questionnaire is reviewed by the headteacher.  The findings are reported back to our SGC at least once a year and your views really do help the next generation of DPS pupils!
